Central Coast Community Energy Hosts Community Workshop to Gather Community Feedback on Rebates and Incentives as Part of 3CE’s Electrify Your Home Program

October 22, 2024

MONTEREY, Calif., October 22, 2024 – Central Coast Community Energy (3CE) is excited to announce an upcoming community workshop where community members will have the opportunity to provide feedback on household energy decisions, help shape rebates and incentives and learn more about 3CE’s Electrify Your Home program. The workshop is designed to give 3CE deeper insight into the barriers community members face in adopting all-electric appliances and how the agency can provide support.

Participants will engage in open discussions on the challenges and benefits of building electrification, including how all-electric appliances can contribute to California’s clean energy goals. Feedback collected during these workshops will directly inform future 3CE rebate and incentive programs.

“We are eager to hear from our community members about their experiences and what kind of support they need to make clean energy choices for their homes,” said Chris Cook, Director of Energy Programs. “Their input is critical to shaping programs that meet the real needs of our residents while advancing the clean energy transition.”

Workshop Details:
When: Thursday, November 7, 2024, 5:30 – 7:30 PM
Where: Watsonville Public Library, 275 Main St., Suite 100; Watsonville, CA 95076

The workshop will offer interpretation services from English to Spanish, and a light dinner will be provided for all attendees. The workshop will be family-friendly, with activities available for children.
