Central Coast Community Energy Announces New Executive Leadership Team

MONTEREY, Calif., May 15, 2023 – Central Coast Community Energy (3CE), one of California’s largest community choice aggregators, is proud to announce a series of leadership appointments that position the agency to meet its renewable energy goals while continuing to deliver value to customers and investment in communities through programs and rate savings.

Seasoned administrative executive Dewayne Woods has been appointed Chief Financial Officer at 3CE. Woods worked as the Assistant County Administrative Officer for the County of Monterey for more than 22 years, where he oversaw the County’s $1.9 billion budget and finance operations. He brings deep experience in public utilities and enterprise operations.

Catherine Stedman, who joined 3CE in 2022 to lead communications and outreach efforts, has been appointed Chief Communications Officer. In this role, Stedman will oversee communications, account services, and energy programs. Stedman brings extensive utility experience in community relations and government affairs, having led external affairs for California American Water’s district operations on the Monterey Peninsula for sixteen years.

Dennis Dyc-O’Neal has moved from Director of Power Supply Resources to Interim Chief Operating Officer for 3CE. With more than 25 years of experience in the electric and natural gas markets, Dyc-O’Neal brings specialized capability in renewable energy, business development, and contract administration. Prior to joining 3CE, he was the Director of Power Resources for Silicon Valley Clean Energy (SVCE) and spent thirteen years at PG&E in energy procurement and contract management.
