Net Energy Metering (NEM) allows customers who generate their own energy onsite to receive a financial credit on their electric bills for any surplus energy fed back to their utility.
All CCCE NEM customers receive an annual true-up in December of each year. Customers eligible for Net Surplus Compensation (NSC) receive a payment or bill credit based on the CCCE Net Surplus Compensation rate.
