Rebate Amounts & Incentive Level Eligibility
Base Definition: All residents enrolled in CCCE.
Tier 1 Definition: Income Qualified Residents within 201% – 400% of the Federal Poverty Line (FPL)
Tier 2 Definition: Income Qualified Residents within 200% of the Federal Poverty Line (FPL)
*Rebates are intended to reimburse 100% of costs up to the rebate amount for each completed purchase and/or project.
**50% of the cost up to $500 for Base Incentive and 75% of the cost up to $1,000 for Tier 1 and 2

Rebates can be applied for together or independently in no particular order.
Purchases and/or installation must be made between October 1, 2021, and November 15, 2022.
Residents are eligible to receive one incentive per rebate type. i.e. one EV rebate, one E-bike rebate, one EV Charger rebate, and one EV Readiness rebate.
Electric Vehicle (EV)
Vehicle(1) must be registered with the California Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) to an address enrolled in CCCE service.
New or used vehicles must be one of the following vehicle types:
Battery Electric Vehicles “(BEV”)
Plug In Hybrid Electric Vehicles “(PHEV”)
Electric Motorcycles (new only)
Used vehicles must meet the following requirements:
Must be 8 model years old or newer (e.g. Year 2021 = 2014 or newer).
Less than 75,000 original miles.
No modifications to chassis or emission control systems.
Clean Title. (Cannot be salvaged).
No Open Recalls. (Open recalls must show proof of repairs).
E-bike must be purchased new.
Class 1, 2, and 3 e-bikes are eligible.
Additional $100 rebate with proof of purchase from bike store located within CCCE service area.
Must be Level 2 EV Charger (requires 240-volt power source).
Must be Wi-Fi enabled (“networked”)
Must be purchased new (not refurbished).
Must be certified by Underwriters Laboratory Inc. (“UL Listed”)
Electrical work must be completed at the time of application submittal.
The installer must be authorized to perform electrical/installation work, as defined by the Authority Having Jurisdiction building guidelines.
May include materials and labor that occur in anticipation of or during installation of EV Charger – receptacles, J-boxes, conduit, smart splitters, electrical service panel upgrades and replacements, and more.
