Enhanced rebates and support will help Central Coast Community Energy customers electrify their homes, businesses, farms, and fleets.
MONTEREY, Calif., October 6, 2026 – Customers interested in purchasing electric vehicles, building out charging equipment, and installing other electrical upgrades to homes and businesses can do so with support from Central Coast Community Energy’s (3CE) 2026-27 customer rebates and support programs, which offer financial incentives and logistical help at no additional cost to eligible customers.
Last month, the 3CE Policy Board approved expanded investments in programs that help customers optimize energy use and electrify transportation, buildings, and agricultural operations. These resources help families and businesses make the switch to electric vehicles and equipment while supporting cities and counties working toward California’s climate goals and a cleaner, more resilient future. Customers can explore available programs, review eligibility, and apply at 3cenergy.org/rebates-incentives/.
“Our programs help people take practical next steps, whether that means buying an electric car, installing a charger, updating farm equipment, or planning a large fleet of vehicles,” said Chris Cook, Director of Energy Programs at 3CE. “Making the switch to electric can lower pollution, but customers need options that work for their budget and their daily lives.”
3CE’s Rebate Programs for 2026-2027
3CE’s programs help customers make the investments they want in electrifying their homes, businesses, farms and vehicles.
- Electrify Your Ride
- 3CE’s Electrify Your Ride Program continues to offer rebates for qualifying new and used all-electric vehicles. Income-qualified customers may also apply for rebates for plug-in hybrid vehicles. The program includes rebates for qualifying Level 2 home chargers, bidirectional chargers, and related electrical work and installation. Customers may also be able to combine 3CE incentives with other programs, including California’s MyFirstEV program.
- Electrify Your Home
- 3CE’s Electrify Your Home Program helps homeowners and renters replace gas-burning appliances with efficient electric options. Rebates are available for qualifying heat-pump heating and air-conditioning systems, heat-pump water heaters, induction cooktops and ranges, and portable heat-pump space conditioners for renters. Higher rebates are available for income-qualified customers and qualifying multifamily affordable housing projects.
- Agricultural Electrification Program
- 3CE’s Agricultural Electrification Program now offers rebates for qualifying used and leased all-electric equipment, in addition to new equipment. The program also includes a revised rebate structure and enhanced incentives for qualifying small and emerging agricultural businesses. Eligible customers can use rebates to help replace fossil-fueled farm equipment, including tools, vehicles, irrigation pumps, and other equipment, with electric alternatives.
3CE’s No-Cost Electrification Support
Transportation is one of the Central Coast’s largest sources of emissions, but for many businesses, public agencies, and multifamily-property owners, a successful transition to electric vehicles depends on planning for reliable charging. 3CE’s enhanced no-cost support offerings will help customers say yes to electrification, from planning through implementation.
- EV Launchpad Technical Assistance Program
- 3CE’s new EV Launchpad Technical Assistance Program provides support for eligible customers planning fleet electrification or EV charging projects at no extra cost to eligible customers. Depending on the project, EV Launchpad assistance may include fleet-transition and charging-infrastructure plans, charger siting and design, engineering support, and help identifying potential funding sources. The program builds on 3CE’s existing EV and charging support by helping customers move from an early idea to an implementable project plan.
- Electric Bus Program
- 3CE’s Electric Bus Program also helps schools, transit agencies, and farmworker transportation providers buy or lease all-electric buses. Enhanced incentives are available for qualifying projects in priority communities.
